Warranty and Returns Specialist

As a Warranty and Returns Specialist at Inter Cars, you are responsible for the technical assessment of warranty requests, efficiently managing the returns flow and providing excellent support for internal questions about returns and warranties.

You also ensure accurate administrative follow-up and coordinate logistical preparations for shipment to foreign warehouses. Collaboration with colleagues in the Benelux and the head office in Poland is essential to successfully set up the department and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Technical assessment of warranties and returns:

o You perform detailed analyses of submitted warranty requests.

o You determine whether a product is eligible for warranty or return.

o You document findings and recommendations for each request.

o You communicate technical evaluations to internal teams and customers.



• Internal support for warranties and returns:

o You answer internal questions regarding returns, warranty assessments and deposits.

o You also resolve problems and complaints regarding warranties and returns in an efficient and friendly manner.



• Returns Flow Management:

o You coordinate the entire returns process, from initiation to completion.

o You ensure efficient processing of returns to minimize lead times.

o You optimize returns procedures to increase operational efficiency.



• Administrative follow-up and reporting:

o You are responsible for accurately maintaining the administration of all warranty and return requests.

o You prepare reports on returns statistics, customer satisfaction and process improvements.

o You collaborate with other departments to ensure consistent and accurate data exchange.



• Logistical preparations and collaboration with HQ:

o You prepare and organize shipments of returned products to foreign warehouses.

o You work closely with colleagues in the Benelux and the head office in Poland for coordination and support.

o You actively participate in the set-up and development of the new department with input and guidance from the head office.
• You have a secondary education diploma OR you have at least 2 years of experience. A technical background is an asset. • Knowledge of MS applications, and Navision (not required).

• You can work independently and are a go-getter.

• You are punctual, well-organized and have good writing skills.

• You are service-oriented and have strong communication skills.

• You are Dutch speaking and you have working skills in English and French.

• A forklift certificate is not required, but is an asset.
