As an assistant accountant, you provide reliable and efficient financial support for the best decisions of the organization and its stakeholders. You manage accurate financial data, ensure smooth accounts payable and accounts receivable management, and lay the foundation for successful audits with the chief accountant. By accurately following administrative processes, you promote the sustainable growth and financial health of the organization.

• Financial Administration: you ensure the maintenance of financial transactions in the accounting software, the preparation and booking of invoices and the processing of bank statements.
• Accounts payable and accounts receivable management: you manage outstanding invoices, follow up on payments, and process incoming and outgoing payments. You also maintain contact with suppliers and customers regarding invoicing.
• Audit support: you prepare documentation for internal and external audits and assist in the collection and verification of financial data. You also work together with auditors and accountants in providing necessary information. • Administrative support: you take care of general administration (invoicing, archiving) and support other administrative tasks.

•You have at least 2 years of experience in accounting or have completed an accounting training.
•You have basic knowledge of Office & Excel and preferably also Navision / Isabel.
•You are numerical, enthusiastic, proactive, and autonomous.
•You are a team player, and ready to build positive relationships with your colleagues and stakeholders.
•You are service-oriented and have good communication skills.
•You are Dutch speaking and have professional working skills in English and French.
•You have basic knowledge of Office & Excel and preferably also Navision / Isabel.
•You are numerical, enthusiastic, proactive, and autonomous.
